Mom goes to the Dr office because her daughter is having difficulty breathing after getting over the flu.  the Dr tells mom to go to the pharmacy and buy a Nebulizer tubing and get the solution to go in the tubing.  Mom goes to the big box store and amazing enough the Rph knew what a Nebulizer was, but didn’t know where to buy it.  Mom finally finds me and asked for Nebulizer Tubing for a machine.  I sell her the tubing and show h

er how to use it.  She goes home and calls me saying that the solution doesn’t nebulize when she puts it in the tubing.  I told her to come in and I will show her how to use the machine.

WOW! She comes back with the tubing, and no nebulizer.  MY FAULT!  This shows how after 30 years of asking the questions to get the correct product, I missed the signs.  the good thing is, I leaned another lesson.

A nebulizer, tubing and solution are all needed in order the patient to get the correct therapy, but a lesson on how to use the product correctly is just as important.  Always ask your pharmacist if you don’t fully understand, and today at routeonehealth I learned a new lesson.  Which I look forward to every day!
