Today I got a call from a cutomer looking to fill their oxygen tank because it is empty.  I told them they need to go back to the company that gave them the tank and they can fill it for you and set the flow rate.

This person tells me they bought the tank from Amazon!  My God, not again! It is only a matter of time before someone kills themself from buying from the internet.

It is imporatnat to understand, that although oxygen is what we breath, it is NOT pure oxygen which is what comes out of the tanks.  I told this lady to return the tank, go to the Doctor and talk about options.  Make sure you alway have a prescription to undersatand the flow rate and how many liters per hour you need to safely breath.

I get calls similar to this everyday and it is scary what people will do to themself, but there are many options when it comes to helping with shortness of breath.
